At 280 square feet, the Clairemont kitchen had little room to absorb inefficient storage or poorly placed task surfaces. The renovation needed to make the existing footprint work harder without relying on added square footage.
The design-build scope concentrated on the elements that shape daily kitchen use: custom cabinetry, durable quartz work surfaces, and under-cabinet task lighting. Cabinet, counter, and electrical decisions were coordinated so storage and illumination supported the same compact layout.
The nine-week transformation produced a more useful kitchen within the original 280-square-foot footprint, with custom storage, continuous quartz surfaces, and integrated task lighting.
