The 1,800-square-foot Carlsbad courtyard needed a new walking surface, but the visible pavers could not be separated from drainage, irrigation, and lighting below and around them. Each system had to be located before the finished surface was set.
Apex Works coordinated grading and drainage needs with irrigation routes, low-voltage lighting, and the paver layout. Sequencing the underground and surface work as one site package reduced conflicts between systems that would otherwise compete for the same courtyard area.
The three-month project delivered a unified paver courtyard with drainage, irrigation, and low-voltage lighting incorporated into the same 1,800-square-foot site-work scope.
