Outside Sales Representative – ADU / Construction

We design and build accessory dwelling units (ADUs) for San Diego homeowners. We're hiring an experienced construction/home-improvement sales rep to own the territory: meet homeowners at their property, scope the project, and close.

What you'll do

• Run homeowner consultations at the property and by video
• Scope the job, price it with our team, and present the proposal
• Own your pipeline from first call to signed contract
• Hand off cleanly to our project manager

What you bring (required)

• 2+ years selling construction, remodeling, ADUs, solar, roofing, or home improvement — in-home/in-field sales
• Track record of closing $50k+ residential projects
• San Diego-based, valid driver's license, reliable vehicle
• Comfortable being paid for performance

Compensation

• 3% of contract value on every project you close
• $75,000 target earnings in year one. It is a target, not an average of what our reps make — this is a new sales seat and you would be the first in it
• Capped at 150% of target. Above target you keep earning at full rate up to $112,500
• $2,500 per month non-recoverable draw for your first 3 months so you have a floor while you build pipeline — you keep it, no payback
• Commission is earned as we collect: half when the deposit clears, half on final payment
• A project signed below our margin floor needs written approval and pays half rate
• Mileage and phone reimbursed
• Full commission terms are set out in a written agreement you sign before your first day, as California Labor Code §2751 requires
